  1. ELIGIBILITY

1.1. In order to enter the Tournament (UEC) and be eligible to win a prize, the team represents and warrants that the team (“Participant”) satisfies the following eligibility criteria:

  1. The Participant acknowledges to be a natural person aged 16 years or older at the time of the Tournament and not born before the 01.01.1995 (see exception below), and, if the Participant is under the age of 18 years or the age of majority in the Participant’s country of residence, the Participant is participating in this Tournament under the active supervision of a parent or legal guardian (“Guardian”) who has read and agreed to these Terms on the Participant’s behalf. Persons under the age of 16 years are not allowed to participate in this Tournament or transmit or otherwise submit Personal Data (“Personal Data” has the meaning given to the expression or a similar expression (including personal information) in relevant local data protection legislation and includes but is not limited to all data relating to the Participant, such as contact details, Tournament responses, and photographs) to the Organizer.

  2. The Tournament is only open to residents of India. Please note that the Organizer is not liable in case Participants are not legally allowed to take part in the Tournament due to national or local laws. Please note that the official language of the Tournament will be English and that all interactions with the Organizer, including these Terms, the registration, and further instructions in the course of the Tournament, will generally be in the English language. Any translations are provided as a matter of courtesy only.

  3. Directors, officers, and employees of the Organizer, its parent, and any of their respective affiliate companies, subsidiaries, agents, any company involved in the development or production of the Tournament, professional advisors, third-party service providers or advertising and promotional agencies involved with the Tournament, and immediate family members and those living in the same household of such persons (whether legally related or not) are not eligible to enter or win any prizes in the Tournament.

1.2. Only one entry per person is allowed. Further, only natural persons and non-entrepreneurs are allowed to participate.

1.3. The Organizer reserves the right to verify the email address provided to the Organizer by the Participant and to require proof of age, identity, and/or other provided details at any time at its discretion. In the event of any dispute, entries containing an invalid e-mail address or incorrect data regarding the age or residence of the Participant will be deemed ineligible.

1.4.Prior to being eligible to participate, each Participant must completely and accurately fill out and submit the registration form (“Registration Form”): In case of failing to submit the Registration Form, the Participant will not be allowed to participate. 

1.5.The Tournament will be run at the Organizer’s sole discretion. The Organizer’s decision in relation to all matters in connection with the Tournament is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

  1. TOURNAMENT PERIOD

2.1. The tournament will take place in November – March (2023-24). Location of the tournament will be the respective regional host universities and finals host university at the discretion of the Organizer and such changes will be informed.
2.2. Subject to local statutory law and except in the case of discretionary cancellation, delay, or postponement of the Tournament by the Organizer, hence in case of any cancellation, delay, or postponement of the Tournament for a reason outside the organizer’s sphere of influence, be it force majeure (including COVID-19), government orders, or circumstance under which Organizer cannot with reasonable means guarantee Participants’ safety or health. A Tournament may be canceled, delayed, postponed, or otherwise changed for any reason, including, without limitation, severe weather or other factors that threaten the safety of participants, staff, or volunteers. The government officials may mandate cancellation, delay, postponement, or change of nature or format of a Tournament or otherwise be at the discretion of the Organizer. The Organizer reserves the right to change the details of the Tournament, such as the date, start time, location, and/or amenities offered in connection with the Tournament.

  1. RULES OF THE GAME

Game-Specific Rules – Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI™)

3.1.1 Definitions of Terms

3.1.1 “Round”

In the game, up to 64 players parachute onto an island and scavenge for weapons and equipment to finish others while avoiding getting finished themselves. The available safe area of the game’s map decreases in size over time, directing surviving players into tighter areas to force encounters. The last player or team standing wins the round.

3.1.2 “Map”

The Maps are the playable area where players are pitted against each other in BATTLEGROUNDS.

3.1.3 Roster Lock

Teams participating in UEC will not be allowed to change/add or remove a player from their roster at any point between the tournament.

3.1.4. Match Procedure

Game-Specific Rules – EA SPORTS FC  24 (EAFC 24™)

3.1.2. Definitions of Terms

3.2.1. “Match”

In the game, 2 players will compete head to head in a game of football simulation. The objective is to out-play and out-maneuver the opponent and score a “goal” (details mentioned in 3.5 scoring systems). At the end of the game, the player with the highest number of points will win the game.

3.2.2. “Team”

The players can select any one of the teams in the official team roster of EAFC 24, along with any tactics that are available in the team management.

Game-Specific Rules – Valorant™ 

3.3. Definitions of Terms

3.3.1. “Match”

In the game, it is a 5v5 competitive FPS where you play as one Agent in a team of Agents — selectable characters that have their own unique set of abilities that you can use to help you win a match. You cannot have multiple people playing the same Agent in your team.

3.3.2. “Map”

The Maps are the playable area where players are pitted against each other in Valorant.

3.3.3 Match Procedure

3.3.4 Check-In

All Team Captains can join the Tournament Discord server and check in with Tournament staff. All Participants must be available at the time the Tournament rounds start on Challengermode and ready up for each match.

3.3.5. Map Selection

 Map Pool:

The map pool consists of Bind, Haven, Split, Ascent, Icebox, Breeze, and Fracture.

3.3.6. Map Selection Process for Best-of-One Matches:

This process has to happen in the Challengermode lobby chat, for each game. The better-seeded (highest team in the bracket on Challengermode) team is Team A. Team A starts the process and the map for the Match will be selected according to the following procedure:

3.3.7.. Map Selection Process for Best-of-Three Matches:

This process has to happen in the Challengermode lobby chat, for each game. The better-seeded (highest team in the bracket on Challengermode) team is Team A. Team A starts the process and the map for the Match will be selected according to the following procedure:

3.3.8 Roster Lock

Teams participating in UEC will not be allowed to change/add or remove a player from their roster at any point between the tournament.

3.4 Player Eligibility

Participants must submit all the required information like character ID, Full Name, ID Proof, Phone Number, Email ID, Age, City, etc. to register.

The character ID is needed to invite players into a custom match and to check if the registered player is playing.

3.5 Scoring systems

3.5.1BGMI:

Scoring System: Teams earn points based on (i) their final rank and (ii) the number of finishes achieved in each match. Each finish grants 1 point.

Game Tiebreaker: Ties between two Teams during the Competition will be determined in the order of (a) total times of winning the first placement across all Tournament Games; (b) total accumulated placement points across all Tournament Games; (c) total accumulated kills across all Tournament Games; and (d) placement in the most recent match of the Tournament.

3.5.2 EAFC:

Scoring System: Players earn points based on (i) their final wins and (ii) the number of goals achieved in each match subtracted by goals against in each match.  Each goal grants 1 point.

Game Tiebreaker: Games which are tied after the time is over will move on to extra-time and then consequently to penalties.

3.5.3Valorant: 

Scoring system:  In round of Attackers vs Defenders, and your team is randomly given a side prior to the match starting. 12 rounds in, the teams swap sides and the first team to win 13 rounds wins the match.

Score metrics: All matches except the Grand Finals will be a Best-of-One. The Grand Finals will be played as a Best-of-Three.

3.6 Game Settings

3.6.1. General Settings

The Organizers will create the lobby for each match. The Organizers will invite teams in the lobby to start the match. For each match, the Organizers define the gameplay settings by tournament settings.

3.6.2. Match Result

All teams are requested to take screenshots of their match result and submit it to Admins if asked to do so (for online qualifiers).

3.6.3 No bugs or glitches allowed.

Players shall not use any bugs or glitches known by the esports community, whether or not specifically mentioned in the Official Ruleset. In the event the Organizer determines that a participant voluntarily used a bug and/or a glitch that gave an unfair advantage, the Organizer may decide to either return to the state of the game before the bug or glitch occurred (if possible) or inflict a penalty or direct removal from the tournament. The organizer determines at its sole discretion if the bug or glitch has been voluntarily or involuntarily used.

3.6.4. Communication with third-party.

Players are not allowed to communicate with any third party (including managers) during a match. This restriction also includes obtaining information related to the match in progress via external sources (e.g.: streaming channels, social networks, communication tools,…).

3.6.5. Records and Broadcast

Only the Organizer is authorized to record and broadcast the Tournament, worldwide, on the Internet, on television or on any other communication medium, known or unknown. Except as otherwise permitted by the Organizers, Players are not authorized to record or broadcast the matches.

3.6.6 Forfeit

In the event that a team is unable to participate in a match, for any reason whatsoever, this team will be considered forfeit for that match. A team considered forfeit for a match loses the match.

3.7 Rules Changes

The Organizer reserves the right to modify this Official Ruleset at any time, without any obligation to follow a specific process beforehand, without notice, and without consequences. The Organizer agrees to contact the teams via all the usual communication channels, including by e-mail or WhatsApp or any other communication tool, to inform them of any modifications to the Tournament format or in case of a change to the times of any matches.

3.8 Minimum users / No Show / Forfeit

Tournament teams must have a minimum of three eligible users in the lobby at the designated time of their match. If not, then the team that does not have 3 or more players will forfeit the matches.

3.9 Reschedules

Rescheduling of any match is not allowed in this tournament. It depends on the sole discretion of the organizers.

3.10 Using Non Registered users

Teams cannot use non-registered users; ineligible users are considered not registered. Using a player who is not registered is considered a violation and will fall under the smurfing rule. Failure to follow this rule will result in a match overturn. Consecutive breaches of the rule may result in further punishments.

3.11 Competitive Game Version

Matches will be played on the latest version designated by the Tournament Officials.

3.11.1. Pre-Match Obligations

Players will be informed of any pre-Match obligations, including, but not limited to, media appearances, interviews, or further discussion of any Match matters

3.12 Role of Referee

3.12.1 Head Referee

The “Head Referee” is a Tournament Official who is responsible for the judgments on every Match-related issue, question and situation which occurs before, during, and immediately following Matchplay. Their oversight includes, but is not limited to:

  • Checking the Team’s lineup before a Match.
  • Checking and monitoring player peripherals and Match Areas, if applicable.
  • Announcing the beginning of the Match.
  • Ordering pause/resume during play.
  • Issuing sanctions and disciplinary action in response to rule violations during the Match.
  • Making all Match-related determinations under these tournament Rules, including with regard to pauses and stoppages of play.
  • Confirming the end of the Match and its results.

3.12.2 Referee Responsibilities

“Referees” are Tournament Officials who work on behalf of the Tournament Operator and are subject to the direction, review, and oversight of the Head Referee. Referees are responsible for:

  • Admitting or denying access to the Match Areas, if applicable.
  • Carrying out security protocols directed by the Head Referee and other Tournament Officials, and/or in support of these tournament Rules
  • Administering the player checklist and enforcing these tournament Rules, including directing players to take or refrain from taking any action.
  • Communicating with players about any issues experienced, in-game and out. 
  • Upon request, explaining any bug exploits.

3.13 Finality of Judgment.

All decisions regarding the interpretation of these rules, player eligibility, scheduling and staging of the event, and penalties for misconduct lie solely with the Head Referee, the decision of which is final.Head Referee decisions with respect to these Rules cannot be appealed and shall not give rise to any claim for monetary damages or any other legal or equitable remedy.

  1. Roster Rules

4.1 Participants can only enter and compete in one team. A Participant playing in multiple teams equates to both teams being disqualified from the Tournament.

4.2 Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

4.3 If the team is disqualified, the Organizer is under no obligation to publish this fact.

4.4. The contact details the team provides with their Tournament entry will be used to notify them of any prizes; please make sure they are correct.

  1. THE ORGANIZER’S RIGHT TO CHANGE THE TERMS AND TO DISQUALIFY

5.1. To the extent permitted by law, and without affecting the statutory rights, if in the Organizer’s opinion the Tournament is compromised by any event beyond the organizer’s control (i.e. force majeure), the Organizer reserves the right to modify, terminate, amend or extend the Tournament without responsibility and liability for any amount or kind of loss or damage that may result to them or any third party (whether direct or indirect).

5.2. At any time during the Tournament, the Organizer reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify and remove any Participants for any failure to observe these Terms (including but not limited to, because the Organizer believes the Participant engaged in cheating and in general for violations of the provisions set out in these Terms) or where applicable any other kind of illegal or inappropriate behavior. In the event that a winning Participant is disqualified, the prize will be forfeited and/or maybe awarded to an alternate winner.

  1. FAIR PLAY

6.1. The team hereby confirms that the Personal Data that the team enters in connection with the Tournament is accurate and up to date. When the team enters the Personal Data of their team members, they thereby confirm that they have previously obtained their consent and that this consent has not been withdrawn.
6.2. The team hereby warrants and represents that the team personally performed and otherwise participated in the Tournament to meet the eligibility criteria set in these Terms associated with their entry or by their own creation of other materials such as user-generated content as specified in these Terms and that they have not used any prohibited aids, such as automatic robots, scripts, services or other forms of manipulation. By entering this Tournament, all participants warrant and represent that their entries are their own fully original creations, and their respective entries will not infringe or violate the rights of any third parties, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, and/or rights of publicity/privacy.

6.3. The team confirms and are responsible that their entry does not:

  • contain material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights;
  • contain brand names or trademarks, other than (i) those of the Organizer, which the team has a limited license to use for the sole purpose of creating and uploading their entry, and/or (ii) those that their own, which they agree to license to the Organizer on a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive basis or have license to use and sub-license to the Organizer on a royalty-free, irrevocable, per- petual, non-exclusive basis in connection with the entry;

  • contain copyrighted material not created by the team, other than material that they have necessary rights, consents and permissions to use and sub-license to the Organizer on a royalty free, irrevocable, perpetual, nonexclusive basis in connection with the entry;
  • contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defam- atory, slanderous or libelous;

  • contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regula- tions in any jurisdiction where the entry is created.

6.4. In case of an infringement of this Section 6, the team shall defend and indemnify the Organizer against claims of infringement based on intellectual property rights.

  1. GRANT OF RIGHTS

7.1. The Organizer or third parties as it may authorize from time to time will be entitled to capture and use audio recordings, video recordings, and photographs, from the Tournament (“Material”) and to use their name, image, voice, appearance, performance and biographical Material for any purpose (be it commercial, promotional or otherwise) in all media, forever.

7.2. In consideration of the team’s participation in this Tournament and the opportunity for them to win a prize, the team will assign to the Organizer all rights in the Material to the broadest extent possible and shall execute all public or private instruments that might be requested for this purpose, as a condition to participate in the Promotion

7.3. The Organizer will be enabled to use, broadcast, screen, display, reproduce and/or make available to the public the Material in any and all media, including but not limited to radio, television, cinemas, events, data carriers, and the worldwide web. The Organizer will be entitled to make any alterations, intermissions, cuts, or other modifications in and to the Material and to use such altered Material without restrictions. Furthermore, the Organizer is allowed to transfer the granted rights to any third party. The team is aware of the fact that they won’t have the right to approve any of the Material. The team understands that they might not be named as a Participant in the tournament and do not expect to gain financially from their appearance in any Tournament-related Material.

7.4. If not stated otherwise the Organizer does not allow them to use their own camera at the Tournament in order to record moving images and/or a series of still images/ shoot content (“Participant Content”). The use of such Participant Content is limited to private purposes meaning on their own website and their social media channels. The team understands that the Organizer holds the intellectual property and media rights in the Tournament and upon request, the team will provide the Organizer access to the Participant Content. Any commercial use either by themselves or third parties is subject to the organizers’ prior consent.

7.5. The Participant hereby assigns and grants to the Organizer including its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and cooperation partners any and all rights, title, and interest in and to all entries and materials submitted to the Organizer in connection with any Tournament, including their voice, image, photograph, statements, biographical information, performances, name and likeness and including any user-generated content (collectively, “Entry Materials”) under current and future law to the broadest extent possible according to applicable law, FOR INDIA: moral rights are inalienable and thus cannot be waived by the Participant nor assigned. The conveyances and licenses in this section include in particular but are not limited to the following rights: the broadcasting right, the right of making available to the public (download/on-demand-rights), the film theatre right (cinematic/exhibition right), the video rights, the right of distribution and copying, the right of alteration and dubbing, the right of promotion, the merchandising right, the publishing right and the stage drama, radio drama and audio/talking book rights. Furthermore, the Organizer acquires the right to make any alterations, intermissions, deletions, cuts, or other modifications in and to the Entry Materials and the exclusive right to exploit such altered versions in any matter. The Organizer and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and cooperation partners shall be enabled to exploit the Entry Materials without any limitations and regardless of the medium via which the exploitation takes place. The Organizer is however not obliged to make use of these rights.

7.6. The Organizer is further irrevocably entitled to assign the rights entirely or in part to any third parties and to grant any sublicenses respectively rights of exploitation and/or exploitation permissions or to exercise the rights in its own name or through third parties.

7.7. The sole consideration for this comprehensive assignment and grant of rights shall be to get the chance to win a prize in the Tournament.

7.8. The Organizer including its affiliated companies and partners may be required to request the team to enter into a separate license agreement permitting the Organizer to use entries and materials created by Participant and submitted to the Organizer for reasonable promotional, administrative, or other purposes beyond the reasonable expectation of the Participant.

7.9. Winners may be requested to take part in promotional activity and the Organizer reserves the right to use the names and addresses of winners, their photographs, and audio and/or visual recordings of them in any promotional material.

  1. Player Conduct

8.1 High Standards for Professionals

All Teams and Team Members must at all times observe the highest standards of personal integrity and good sportsmanship. Team Members are required to behave in a professional and sportsmanlike manner in their interactions with other competitors, the Tournament Organizer, the media, sponsors, and fans.

8.2 Competitive Integrity

All Teams and Team Members are expected to compete to the best of their skill and ability at all times in any Tournament Game. Tournament organizers hold the right to penalize a team if found guilty in any case at their discretion

8.3 Compliance

Players must follow the instructions of the tournament administration at all times. Failure in doing so can lead to disqualification from the tournament.

8.4 Exploiting

A player may not utilize any exploits during tournament games. Exploiting is defined as intentionally using any in-game bug to seek an advantage.

8.5 Hate Speech

A Team Member may not, during a LAN Event, Online Event, media interview or in any communication relating to the tournament, use any language that is offensive, insulting, libelous, slanderous, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, threatening, foul or vulgar. A Team Member may not post, transmit, or disseminate any such prohibited communications. A Team Member may not use this type of language on social media or during any public-facing events or in any streaming of UEC. This rule applies to speech in English and all other languages. In addition, Team Members may not encourage members of the public to engage in any activities that are prohibited by this rule.

8.6 Violence

Team Members are expected to settle their differences in a respectful manner and without resort to violence, threats, or intimidation (physical or non-physical). Violence is never permitted at LAN Event or against any competitor, fan or any tournament official.

8.7 Drugs and Alcohol

The use, possession, distribution or sale of controlled substances, such as drugs or alcohol, or being under the influence of such controlled substances, is strictly prohibited while a Team Member is engaged in any Tournament or other event or on-premises that are owned by or leased to the Tournament Organizer. The unauthorized use or possession of prescription drugs by a Team Member is prohibited. Prescription drugs may be used only by the person to whom they are prescribed and in the manner, combination, and quantity as prescribed. Prescription drugs may only be used to treat the condition for which they are prescribed and may not be used to enhance performance in a Tournament Game. Each Team Member is required to report any violation of this rule to the Tournament Organizer.

8.8 Gambling

Gambling on the outcome of Tournament Games (including any plays or components of a Tournament Game) can pose a serious threat to the integrity of, and public confidence in, the tournament. Team Members are not allowed to (i) place, or attempt to place, bets on any Tournament Games (or any plays or components thereof), or (ii) associate with high volume gamblers, or deliver information to others that might influence their bets.

8.9 Unauthorized Communications

At LAN Events, all communication devices must be removed from the play area before any Tournament Game begins. Players may not text/email or use social media while in the match area. During the match, communication by a player shall be limited to the other players on the Team.

8.10 Identity

At all public-facing Tournaments, a player may not cover his or her face. Hats and dark glasses are not allowed during LAN Event play.

8.11 Harassment

Harassment is prohibited. Harassment is defined as systematic, hostile and repeated acts taking place over a period of time, or a singular egregious instance, which is/are intended to isolate or ostracize a person and/or diminish the dignity of the person.

8.12 Sexual Harassment

Sexual harassment is prohibited. Sexual Harassment is defined as unwelcome sexual advances. The assessment is based on whether the person being harassed would regard the conduct as undesirable or offensive. There is zero tolerance for any sexual threats/coercion or the promise of advantages in exchange for sexual favors.

8.13 Discrimination and Denigration

Team Members may not offend the dignity or integrity of a country, private person or group of people through contemptuous, discriminatory or denigrating words or actions on account of race, skin color, ethnic, national or social origin, gender, language, religion, political opinion or any.

8.14 Account Sharing

Account sharing is strictly against the rules and will lead to an account ban in all stages of the tournament.

8.15 Player and Team names

Officials reserve the right to edit Nicknames and /or URL aliases. Player names that are too similar to that of another player are subject to change.

8.16 Devices

All players must play on their own mobile device. Emulators / Tablets / Ipads or any software that modifies the game to be played via PC or other unauthorized devices are banned. Players caught using such software will face a penalty.

8.17 ESIC Compliance

In the situation that any team or any player is found to be using unethical means to gain an unfair advantage during the matches or is found to be a cheater at any time in the past in the relevant game, the organizers reserve the right to suspend the gamer for a period of upto 2 years from the tournament, as per an ESIC Ruling (which will be taken as per their integrity program, details: https://esic.gg/codes/) on the case and the right to relegate the remaining players.
The tournament organizers reserve the right to immediately withdraw any support extended to the said team on an immediate basis.

  1. Communication and support: 

9.1 Admins

All participants must adhere to the decisions and rules of the tournament organizers, admins, and referees. All decisions are final, except in cases where the option to appeal is clearly stated.

9.2 Cheating

Any form of cheating will not be tolerated. When cheating is uncovered the team in question will immediately be removed from the tournament and banned from all competitions for 6 months. Players may be requested to install anti-cheat software on their devices for the duration of the tournament.

Examples of cheating include, but are not limited to: 

9.2.1 DDoSing

Limiting, or attempting to limit, another participant’s connection to the game through a Distributed Denial of Service attack or any other means.

9.2.2 Match Fixing

Attempting to intentionally alter the results of a match by losing or otherwise trying to affect the results.

9.2.3 Software or Hardware

Using any software or hardware to gain benefits that are otherwise not available in-game. Examples include, but are not limited to: any 3rd party software (unapproved apps that manipulate gameplay), playing on private servers, and scripted attacks.

9.3 Disqualification

Organizers reserve the right to disqualify teams and players. Any team found to be using a known exploit will forfeit their game upon the first occurrence of the exploit. If the team is found to use another known exploit for a second time, and it is determined to have been done on purpose, they will be removed from the event and barred from any future events. Teams found not following the rules stated by the tournament organizer will not be allowed to compete in the tournament.

9.3.1 As the Player is aware that he/she would be a university representative for many and is a part of the Tournament organized by No Scope Gaming, he/ she confirms that he/she shall not indulge in any bad habits including but not limited to:

  1. Cheating
  2. Betting
  3. Violence
  4. Abuse
  5. Racism
  6. Unsportsmanlike Conduct

9.3.2 The Player confirms that he/she shall not make, publish or communicate to any person or entity in any online or otherwise public forum any defamatory or disparaging remark, comment or issue a statement concerning the Tournament or No Scope Gaming or its employees, officers, directors, official investors or sponsors thereof.

9.3.3 In particular, the Player acknowledges and confirms that he has read and is bound by and must comply with the ESIC Anti-Corruption Code (https://esic.gg/codes/anti-corruption-code/) , the ESIC Anti-Doping Policy (https://esic.gg/codes/anti-doping-code/ ) and Code Of Conduct (https://esic.gg/codes/code-of-conduct/) which apply throughout the term of this rules and agree to abide with the same.

9.3.4 The Team would be disqualified in the most severe cases of rule violations like cheating, hacking, betting etc. No Scope Gaming shall abide by the guidelines provided by the Game publisher and/ or ESIC to determine the severity of the rule violation.

9.3.5 The disqualified Player as mentioned in under this Agreement forfeit all prize money and amount payable to the Player under this Agreement.

9.3.6 Level of Offense

Any Individual found conducting any offense will be considered as an offense by the team. Penalty will be imposed on the team as a whole. The penalty will be upon the discretion of the organizer and the severity of the penalty will be according to the level of offense. Any player/team receiving both the warning is liable to disqualification.

Level 1 offence (First warning)

  • Usage of Abusive Language
  • Non-compliance of the tournament rules
  • Unauthorized communication

    Level 2 offence (Second warning)

  • Showing inappropriate gestures to the camera
  • Hate speech during any interview/content shoot ● Discrimination

    Level 3 offence (Suspension)

  • Violence with the other player at the venue.
  • Misbehaving with the Admin/management

  • Usage of hacks

    ●  Indulging in any kind of Gambling

    ●  In take of any kind of Alcohol/drugs during the tournament period

    ●  Sexual harassment

  1. Event Obligation

Each player agrees to participate in media interviews, press briefings, streaming sessions, sponsors, events, photo or video shoots, chats, and other media events that No Scope Gaming or the Tournament Organizer organize in connection with the marketing and promotion of the Tournament, and/or No Scope Gaming (“Media Events”),

  1. LAN

Appearances on LAN, The teams qualified to the LAN will have to follow the guidelines provided by the League Operation Team. ( Will be shared on WhatsApp group or mailed to the Team Captain’s registered Email ID )

11.1 Important points

  • After getting eliminated from the match, player has to turn off their device’s wifi and put down their playing device. Players are not allowed to watch/stream on a 3rd party app including youtube/or other streaming platforms.

    ●  Players have to carry their own playing device, in-ear headphones, fans, cream/powder,etc..
    ●  Penalty for not following the rules depends on the sole discretion of the Tournament Organizer. Penalties may include, but are not limited to, Deduction in the team’s total points, not allowing the player/team to compete in tournament games, etc.

    ●  No player is allowed to move out of the venue without permission from the Head Referee.

    ●  Players need to carry their PLAYER BAND to the venue at every visit or else they won’t be allowed inside the venue.

  1. Prize Money

  1. 1 After the competition ends, team captains will be reached out to by email, and they will need to provide their bank data to No Scope Gaming. All prize money will be paid out by No Scope Gaming, at least 60 days after the tournament final has been completed and subject to proper submission of the documents. The prize money is as stated, there are no alternative prizes; it is non-transferable, non-negotiable, and the winners are responsible for all applicable taxes and expenses. If a player is missing the proper payment information and makes no effort to fix this, the prize money will not be paid out until this is rectified.

  2. INTERPRETATION AND CONSTRUCTION 

13.1 No Scope Gaming’s Right of Interpretation

Any matters relating to the event that are not covered by these tournament Rules, will be subject to an interpretation made by the Tournament Operator and provided to the Teams from time to time in the form of an update to, or interpretation of, these tournament Rules. All decisions made by the No Scope Gaming and Tournament Officials in regard to interpretations of these tournament Rules are final and binding.

13.2 Business Judgment

Whenever these tournament Rules grant, confer or reserve to tournament organizers the right to take action, refrain from taking action, grant or withhold consent or grant or withhold approval or make any other determination, unless the provision specifically states otherwise, tournament organizers will have the right to engage in such activity in its sole discretion based on its own business judgment, taking into consideration its assessment of the best interests of the tournament organizers and the short and long term interests of the Official Competition, the event, esports and the businesses and activities of the affiliates and group companies of tournament organizers. Neither a Team nor a Team Member will have any claim or cause of action based on an assertion that any Tournament Official has unreasonably withheld or delayed any consent, approval, determination or other requested action under these tournament Rules.

1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the University Esports Championship (UEC).

2. Eligibility and Admission 

2.1 UEC is open to students currently enrolled in Indian universities.

2.2 To be eligible for participation, students must fulfill the following criteria:

  1. a) Must be a registered student of a recognized Indian university.
  1. b) Must have a valid student ID or proof of enrollment.
  1. c) Must have a valid Government ID of their country of origin. (Driving License, PAN card, Passport, Social security number, etc)

2.3 Participants must register through the official NSG website and provide accurate and up-to-date information.

2.4 By participating, all participants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. 

3. Registration 

3.1 A registration confirmation is required for participation, the details of which will be specified on the official NoScope Gaming website.

3.2 There are no registration fees for UEC Season 1 

4. Tournament Format

4.1 UEC comprises three separate tournaments for the following game titles:

  1. a) Valorant (PC)
  1. b) BGMI (Mobile)
  1. c) EAFC 24 (Console)
  1. d) VR (Tennis Esports)

4.2 The format, schedule, and rules for each tournament will be specified on the official UEC website 

5. Rules and Conduct

5.1 All participants must abide by the rules and regulations of UEC and the specific game titles.

5.2 Fair play, sportsmanship, and ethical behavior are expected from all participants.

5.3 Cheating, hacking, or any unfair advantage is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification.

5.4 Players must not engage in any form of harassment, discrimination, or unsportsmanlike behavior during the tournament. 

6. Prize Pool and Awards

6.1 The prize pool for each game title will be determined and announced by the organizers before the tournament.

6.2 Prizes will be awarded to the top-performing participants and teams as specified in the official rules.

6.3 All prize distributions will be subject to relevant tax deductions as per Indian tax laws.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Participants grant the organizers the right to use their likeness, username, and content for promotional purposes related to UEC.

7.2 Organizers will respect the intellectual property rights of participants and will not use their intellectual property without consent 

8. Disqualification and Penalties

8.1 The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant for violation of the rules or any unsportsmanlike conduct.

8.2 Penalties may include suspension from future UEC events and reporting of misconduct to the respective universities and federations 

9. Privacy

9.1 Participant data will be handled in accordance with the privacy policy outlined on the official NSG website. 

9.2 Organizers will collect and store participant data for the sole purpose of conducting the tournament 

10. Changes to Terms and Condition 

10.1 The organizers reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at their discretion. Any changes will be announced on the official NoScope Gaming website. 

11. Disclaimer

11.1 The organizers are not responsible for any technical issues, network problems, or other factors that may affect the tournament.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

12.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Indian courts.

– Applications will only be accepted through the registration form only

– Applicants should only apply if they can commit to the entire UEC timeline ( December 2023 – March 2024) and attend one of the zonal finals of UEC in their preferred zones (Pune -Delhi NCR – Kolkata – Bangalore – Hyderabad).

– No monetary compensation shall be provided to the volunteers. However, there will be certificates, goodie bags and exciting gift vouchers from NoScope Gaming India. 

– Applicants should be 18 years of age and above.

– No transportation shall be provided by NoScope Gaming India to volunteers on the regional finals/finals.

– Please keep in mind due to the high volume of mail, we will take a minimum of 14 days to respond to the selected applicants.

– If you do not receive a final confirmation email from us about your selection, it means you have not been selected
